ABOUT CAP KIDS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

CAP Kids Educational Resources is a subscription service providing educational worksheets and activities with curriculum outcomes, that are in line with the South African CAPS curriculum. Our aim is to combine accessibility with affordability, to reach as many children in South Africa as possible. A CAP Kids’ Subscriptions costs as little as R50 a month and we currently cater for children aged 1 to Grade 2.
 

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Miranda Lee and CAP Kids was a dream that started a long time ago. In 2020 I combined my years of experience with my qualifications, I put together this product. My hope is that CAP Kids will break down barriers and make quality eduction accessible to all
 
From as little as R50 per month, you will receive quality educational content on a weekly basis, which has been carefully put together for your child’s specific age group. These activities have been designed to be FUN, featuring new themes every week to make learning exciting and colourful. Concepts are introduced and revisited in new ways throughout the year, catering to all learning styles. Most importantly, active learning and learning by DOING are encouraged. This not only makes CAP Kids’ activities more engaging and fun, but also assists in long term memory gain, by incorporating the senses

Fun Facts about me

Hello! I’m Miranda, the founder of CAP Kids, established in 2020. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Foundation Phase) and completed two additional years of specialised study in Early Childhood Development. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about creating accessible, engaging learning experiences for young children; especially those in the early years.

I’m also a homeschool mom, which gives me a unique perspective on the challenges and joys of learning at home. This dual lens, classroom and home, shapes the way I design resources that are practical, creative, fun and easy to use.

Outside of education, I’m a proud dog mom to two rescue pups, Abigail and Isabella, and deeply value the love and support of my family. They’re my greatest inspiration.
